This is one of my favourite pubs. Ever.
Down a lovely looking Islington, Georgian row of houses emerges a building covered in foliage.
You walk into what looks like a relatively good sized, traditional Irish pub, with lots of people sitting and standing around to watch sport, read the paper or just enjoy other people’s company. You are served a glass of wine that is free poured and is a good price. You are given cash back from the bar as you forgot to get cash on the way. You smell a lovely waft of oriental cooking so you go to explore.
